Margie Ruth McClain, 81, passed away on September 19, 2026. She was born on March 7, 1945, to the late Leroy and Emmie Walters.

A Funeral Service to honor her life will be held at 3:00 PM on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, at Holland Funeral Service Pageland, 708 W McGregor Street, Pageland, South Carolina. She will be laid to rest immediately following the service at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 2584 Highway 601 N, Pageland, South Carolina. Family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service from 2:00pm until 2:45pm. 

Margie was a faithful lady, who never met a stranger and loved having her family over for Sunday dinner. She will be remembered for her pinto beans and collard greens.

She is preceded in passing by her husband, Spofford McClain, her children, Amy Annette Manus, Ronnie Miles and Tammy Annette Miles, her brothers, Jake Walters, Fred Walters, Ervin Walters, Rex Walters, Glenn Walters, and her grandson, Kolt Powers.

Margie is survived by her children, Terry Russ (David), Keith Miles (Leigh), Karen Moreno, Joseph McClain (Heather), Tammy Krivenko, and Brandon McClain, 16 Grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren, and her siblings, Helen Kirkley, Carolyn Johnson, Kathy Roberts, and Judy Eason.
