Roderic "Rick" Guess passed away in Monroe, North Carolina on October 5, 2026. He was born on August 18, 1943, in Syracuse, New York, to the late Sidney Guess and Gladis Roe Guess.

He is survived by his wife, Jennie Maxwell Guess and his stepson, Alan Gwyn.

He was the owner of Silver Dollar Trucking. Roderic and Jennie loved to travel all over the United States in their RV. He was also crazy about his Australian Shepard named Winston. Roderic will be deeply missed and cherished in the hearts of all those who knew and loved him.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, October 17, 2026, at Holland Funeral Service Pageland, 708 W. McGregor Street, Pageland, SC 29728. The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service from 1:00pm until 1:45pm.
