Roger Howard, 70, passed away September 30, 2026. He was born in Chesterfield, South Carolina on August 10, 1956 to the late Claude and Susie Howard.

Funeral Services will be held at 3:30pm on Sunday, October 4, 2026 at Holland Funeral Service Pageland, 708 W. McGregor Street, Pageland, SC 29728. The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service from 2:30pm until 3:15pm.

Roger will be remembered for being a gentle quiet soul. He worked as a dedicated carpenter his entire life. Although Roger was a man of simple interests, his never failed to keep his family at the center of his attention. Above all else, Robert was a wonderful father. He spent his days making sure that his children and grandchildren were well taken care of and always made sure they had a loving home.

He is survived by his daughter, Holly Deese, son, Steven Wilkes, granddaughter, Daphne Meadow Deese, and numerous siblings.
